Privacy Policy
ZenFlow is designed so your drawings, mood check-ins, and settings stay on your device unless you explicitly choose to share them.
Effective: April 9, 2026 · Last updated: April 9, 2026Short version: ZenFlow is privacy-first. Your drawings and mood data never leave your device by default. Analytics are disabled by default and only enabled if you opt in.
1. Introduction
ZenFlow ("we", "our", "us") is committed to your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how you can control it.
ZenFlow is designed to be privacy-first: your drawings, mood check-ins, and settings never leave your device unless you explicitly choose to share them.
2. Information We Collect
We collect minimal data to make the app work and improve your experience.
2.1 Data Stored Locally (On Your Device Only)
- Drawings and stroke data
- Mood check-ins and session history
- App preferences (brush settings, decay timers, notification choices)
- Subscription status (cached locally for offline access)
This data is never transmitted to our servers or third parties.
2.2 Opt-In Analytics (Firebase)
ZenFlow includes Firebase Analytics, which is disabled by default. You may enable it in Settings.
If enabled, Firebase may collect:
- Anonymous device identifiers
- App usage events (e.g.
session_started,brush_used,paywall_viewed) - App version and OS version
No personal data, no drawing content, no mood data, and no location are collected through Firebase Analytics.
2.3 Crash & Error Reporting (Sentry)
We use Sentry to detect and fix bugs. Sentry collects crash logs, stack traces, device model, OS version, and app version.
No personally identifiable information (PII), no drawings, and no user identifiers are included.
2.4 Subscription Management (RevenueCat)
We use RevenueCat to manage in-app subscriptions. We never see your payment information; billing is handled by Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
RevenueCat receives:
- Transaction receipts
- Subscription status
- Anonymous app user IDs
We do not store credit card numbers, billing addresses, or payment tokens.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide core app functionality (drawing, decay, session tracking)
- To manage subscription access to premium features
- To fix bugs and improve app stability (Sentry)
- To understand feature usage patterns only if you opt into Firebase Analytics
4. Third-Party Services
We use trusted third-party services for analytics, crash reporting, and subscriptions.

All third-party services are bound by their own privacy policies. We do not sell or share your data.
5. Data Storage & Security
All user-generated content is stored locally on your device. We do not maintain cloud servers or user databases.
You can delete all local data at any time via Settings → Privacy → Delete All Data.
6. Your Rights & Choices
- Opt-Out of Analytics: Disable Firebase Analytics anytime in Settings.
- Crash Reporting: Sentry crash reports can be turned off in Settings.
- Delete Local Data: Removes drawings, mood history, and preferences from your device.
- Subscription Management: Cancel anytime through Apple ID or Google Play settings.
- Data Export: Request a JSON export of your local session data via Settings.
7. Children's Privacy
ZenFlow is rated 4+. We do not knowingly collect or store personal information from children under 13. The app contains no ads, no tracking, and no social features.
Parents are encouraged to review this policy with their children.
8. International Data Transfers
ZenFlow does not transmit user data to external servers. Optional analytics and crash logs are processed by Firebase and Sentry according to their respective data processing agreements.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect app improvements or legal requirements. Material changes will be noted via an in-app notice or by updating the "Last Updated" date.
